Nutsedge Application

There is no way around it; Nutsedge is difficult. It’s able to reproduce through the air seeds and underground. The underground systems can survive adverse conditions and will often re-sprout the following season. This can make nutsedge one of the most challenging weed pests to get rid of. Since the nutlets are able to lie dormant for months before sprouting and taking off in your yard again, it can sometimes take longer than anyone would like to control a heavy sedge population.
